Travelling by car to Forni and then continuing on foot, it is possible to walk along the paths in the valley of the same name, climbing higher and higher until you reach thepeaks of the Ortles-Cevedale mountain range, all of which are over 3,000 metres above sea level (these of course for the more expert and well equipped mountaineers).
